Our
class and syllabus are specifically designed so as to allow
the development of confidence, esteem, fitness, flexibility
and are equally suitable for kids as for adults, both male and
female! Classes include fitness work on focus pads and bags
as well as sparring and self-defence and as the instructors
have a number of years experience teaching other martial arts
styles. There are also weapons to be learnt from brown belt,
MMA and grappling at black and numberous other seminars and
local to international competitions!
Normally,
the first thing people ask when they first start a martial art
is about the belt colours, what they mean and how long it takes
to get to black belt. Your belt colour is like a rank for your
knowledge, skill and time served. The minimum time it should
take a student to reach black belt is 3 years but this is at
your instructors discretion - you have to work hard, show effort
and commitment, good attendance as
well as to prove that you are performing at the required level
for that next grade and deserve to be promoted!
