WELCOME TO THE HOME OF PERSHORE TAE KWON DO ...
Pershore Taekwondo is a long established club with a reputation locally and nationally for its high level of instructors and students. It was formed back in 1992 under the guidance of Mr Nick Clarke and later developed between 1996 and 2005 by Mr Nick Croad and Anne-Marie Croad. For the last couple of years the club has been run by Mr Zak Small but due to family and work commitments, Zak has stepped away from the instruction. Taking over in his place is the current instructor Mr Richard Leech who runs the clubs on behalf of Mr John Swift (4th Degree black belt, head of I.T.S. and also founder of Verve Martial Arts). Having served his time training and teaching for Mr Swift, Mr Richard Leech is keen to pass on his knowledge of Taekwondo and the martial arts to the local people of Pershore and the surrounding areas.
The
summer of 2007 has seen many radical changes at Pershore Taekwondo including
the launch of new club website, new class times, new Verve branded equipment
and uniforms as well as a newly revised theory handbook. The response
and immediate development of students has been nothing short of phenomenal
and with the current varied syllabus, training programme and list of
annual events, students will be able to learn key self-defence skills,
build confidence, discipline, get fit and also have fun! In addition,
with the family focused approach to teaching instilled at Pershore people
of all age, gender and walks of life area able to enjoy the benefit
Taekwondo and the martial arts have to offer!
We look forward to seeing you in class soon! ![]() © Verve
